Important: If you do not have a local company, i.e. a company that provides customer care at a fixed location or in a designated catchment area, posts on Google for confirmed companies may be the right thing for you. More information about posts on Google

Through Google My Business you have the opportunity to post your offers, events, products and services directly in the Google search and on maps.

Before making your first contribution, you should pay attention to the following points:

• High quality: low quality text, for example with spelling errors, superfluous characters or automated or distracting content, is not helpful for customers.
• Respect: Obscene, vulgar or offensive formulations, images or videos should be avoided.
• Links to trusted websites: Links to sites where users are exposed to malware, viruses, phishing or pornographic material are not allowed.
• Regulated goods and services: If you offer products or services in an industry subject to restrictions, you may write contributions but do not post content related to the products themselves. Regulated industries typically include services for adults, alcohol, tobacco and pharmaceutical products, recreational drugs, health and medical products, gambling services, fireworks, weapons and financial services.
• Family Friendly Contributions: The posted content must not be sexual or pornographic.

Create a contribution in the Google My Business App

• Open the Google My Business App on your Android smartphone or tablet.
• Type on the home page.
• Type "items".
• Type the type of post you want to create ("Update", "Event", "Offer", "Product").
• Make your contribution. You can create your post with photos, videos, text, events, offers and a button. Type the individual fields and enter the required information.
• If you want to see the article in the preview, type preview.
• If you want to publish the post, press Publish. If you want to change your post, click "Back" on the top left. Make the desired changes and publish the post.

Create a contribution in the Google Maps app

Uploaded files must meet the following size requirements:

• At least 400-x300pixels and 10KB file size
• No more than 10.000x10.000pixels and 25MB file size
